What is Security Access Online Banking?

It is a convenient, safe and secure way to do your everyday banking on a personal computer. You can check balances, transfer money, make payments, view images and bills at any time that is convenient to you.

How much does Security Access Online Banking cost?

It is a free service that is available on all of our accounts. The optional BillPayer is free for 6 months. After the initial 6 months, a fee of $ 4.95 per month for up to 10 transactions will be charged. Additional transactions will be $0.40 each. These charges will be automatically deducted from your designated checking account.

How do I sign up for Security Access Online Banking?

If you have an account with us you may sign up by completing the online application by clicking on the “sign up” button or you may stop in the bank to fill out an application.

Which accounts can I access using Security Access Online Banking?

You can view your checking, savings, CD’s, IRAs, and loans.

If I have a joint checking account with someone else, do we both need to enroll or can we share an access code and password?

You both need to enroll. We would like every user to have their own access ID and password. This will provide you both with access to joint accounts.

What if I forget my password?

Your password is not maintained by us for security reasons. If you forget your password, contact us and we will provide you a one-time password after we verify your identity. This password will be good until your next log-on. At that time you will be required to change your password. You may also click on the Forgot Password link.

How late in the day can I make a transfer between accounts?

While you can create a transfer request at any time, only transfers made before 3:00 PM on a business day will post that same day. All transfers made after 3:00 PM will post the next business day.

Are there limits to the number of transfers I can make?

Most checking accounts have no limits to the number of transfers you can make. However, savings accounts are allowed no more than six preauthorized withdrawals or transfers per month. Check with a representative from the bank if you have any questions.

How current is the information online?

You can see account transactions which were made online as they occur. All other transactions, such as in-person deposits or withdrawals, can be seen as they are processed.

What are the software and hardware requirements?

All you need is a personal computer with a current secure browser and access to the Internet.

Is Internet Banking safe & secure?

Yes, we use data encryption, state-of-the-art firewalls and password security to protect your accounts and identity. You are required to use a browser with 128-bit encryption. When you make an online transaction that has been encrypted, your browser will show a locked padlock icon at the bottom of the screen.

How do I protect my personal information on the Internet?

First of all, don’t reveal your Security Access Online Banking ID or password to anyone else. Also, you will be asked to change your password every 6 months. Make sure you log off of your online session by clicking the log off button and do not leave your computer if you are in the middle of a session.

How do I exit from Internet Banking?

You must click on the Log Off button.
